Dial-up is an Internet connection using a phone line and modem. Dial-up service is inexpensive, requires no set-up fees and will work in most places across the US.
Dial-up service on a month-to-month basis, there are no contracts or commitments.
Our Dial-up service includes:
- Free telephone support for your service
- 5 E-mail accounts, each with 100Mb of space
- Configurable spam detection levels
- Newsgroups
How can I set-up Dial-up service?
Dial-up service can be set-up over the phone with a credit card in about 5 minutes. Customers also have the option of visiting our office.
How much does it cost?
Our basic Dial-Up Service is only $12.95 a month.
We also offer an accelerated Dial-up service* which can speed up your Internet up to six times. This service is $17.95 a month.
* You will need a connection speed of 33.6 to use the accelerated service. The accelerator compresses the images, flash and video content of websites. This process allows websites that were not designed for dial-up to display much faster than they normally would.
How fast is the Dial-up connection?
The max realized connection quality is 5.2 kbps which will translate into 56k.
There are several factors which can affect connection speeds and network stability:
· Quality of phone line to and within the house.
· Length (distance) of phone line connection.
· Occasional issues with modem compatibility.
